This Privacy Policy explains how STEM with DK Swami, operated by Deepandra Kumar Swami ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform.

Account information: your name and email address, and either a hashed password or your Google profile name, email, and avatar if you sign in with Google.
Payment information: transaction metadata such as amount, currency, and payment status. We never store your full card, UPI, or bank account numbers — these are handled directly by our payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal).
Usage data: which courses you access and your lecture watch/completion progress.
Session cookies used to keep you signed in.
Any information you send us directly, such as support emails.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
Provide access to courses and live classes you have purchased.
Process payments and issue refunds.
Respond to support requests and send service communications (e.g. receipts, access issues).
Improve and maintain the platform.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only as necessary to operate the platform:
With payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal) to process your payments.
With teachers, who can see limited enrollment information (name and email) only for students enrolled in their own courses.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with our legal and tax record-keeping obligations.
6. Children's Privacy
Many of our students are minors. The platform is intended to be used by minors only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect more personal data from minors than is necessary to provide our courses and live classes.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at narendra.swami@zohomail.in. If you are located in India, these rights are provided in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are located outside India (for example, in the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law such as the GDPR.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
10. International Transfers
If you pay in USD or another non-INR currency, your payment may be processed by Stripe or PayPal outside India as part of completing the transaction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
